Certified Training

Our goal is to give our clients the life skills and job preparation necessary to maintain the highest quality of living. Paving The Way has partnered with International Brotherhood of Teamsters to offer the community free and low cost certified training. We offer the following training every month.

OSHA 10

16 Hour, 2 days course from 8:00am - 3:00pm Teaches recognition, avoidance, abatement and prevention of safety and health hazards in workplaces. Providing information regarding workers' rights, employer responsibilities and how to file a complaint. Designed for construction workers, foremen, job supervisors, and all personnel responsible for construction-related projects.

Hazmat

8-hour, 1-day course from 8:00 am-3:00 pm A Hazmat employee is defined as responding to damaged containers, spills, or leaks and reports incidents, operates any vehicle or equipment used to transport hazardous materials. Loads, unloads, moves, handles, or works around hazardous materials (i.e. oil refineries, warehouses, loading docks, truckers).

Forklift Training

8 Hour, 1 day course from 8:00am - 5:00pm $ 40.00 rental fee (Nonrefundable) is required upon signing up- Payment insures your seat for the forklift class.

HAZWOPER

40 hour, 7 day course from 8:00am - 5:00pm Hazwoper training applies to any business that stores, uses or handles hazardous materials substances, including those that involve oil and gas, cleaning chemicals and processing chemicals on site.

General Industry

16 Hours, 2 days course from 8:00am-3:00pm The OSHA Outreach Training Program for General Industry teaches general industry workers about their rights, employer responsibilities, and how to file a complaint as well as how to identify, abate, avoid and prevent job related hazards.
